The White Billionaire: The Complete Collection (Books 1-4) Page 20

“W-what? I know you didn’t call me with this bullshit. I haven’t heard from you in forever, and you call me with this?”

“It’s something that I really need to know,” I said.

“Who told you that?” She asked guiltily.

“Why does it matter? Did you or didn’t you?”

“If you would have called and took care of your mother then I wouldn’t have had to sell that story. You know I’ve been struggling and so what was I supposed to do?”

“You can’t be fucking serious,” I yelled through the phone, “All I’ve done my entire life is take care of you.”

“What have you done for me lately?” She said defensively.

“First of all, I took care of myself and that was your job.”

“Camille, you have lost your mind. You know that times were hard, I was a single mother and I had to do it all by myself.”

“No! You were a single junky mother. You were never there for me, and all you did was beg. I just needed you to keep your fucking mouth shut, and you couldn’t even do that,” I yelled.

“All I told was the truth. If you wouldn’t have been involved in all that ghetto shit, I wouldn’t have had anything to say,” she countered.

I had figurative smoke coming out of my ears. I’d never unloaded on her, but I refused to hold back any longer. She’d crossed the line.

“You were the reason that I had to do all of that ghetto shit and you’ve been taken care of because of it. I swear, I should have left you to your own devices when I was fifteen. I only stayed around because Marcus didn’t want to you see you tricking off in alleys for cash. I’m done with you,” I said as I paced the floor, and I turned my back to Kyle in shame.

“So you’re really going to turn your back on your family? All over some damned money?”

“You made that decision, not me,” I said as angry tears pricked at the back of my eyes, “I wish you well mom, but I’m done.”

I hung up the phone and walked out of the bedroom without looking back at Kyle.

I grabbed a bottle of wine and walked upstairs to the balcony. I grabbed a glass and the opener from the portable bar outside and took a seat. I should have been working, and I definitely shouldn’t have been drinking because it was too early in the morning. I let my mother get to me, and it pissed me off. I knew exactly what was coming from her and so I shouldn’t have been surprised. She’d been the same selfish bitch ever since I was young.

My hands shook as I poured myself a delicious glass of Malbec. Tears streamed down my cheeks, and I took a sip after sip. Looking out at Chicago from our balcony soothed me although I felt a little guilty as I watched everyone going to work. I was letting Kyle down, but I wasn’t in the mood to think about anything.

“Are you okay?” Kyle said as he took a seat across from me.

I jumped because I didn’t hear him approach.

  “You scared me,” I said.

“I’m sorry, I guess I’ll knock first,” he grinned.

I shook my head and gave a short laugh.

“So tell me what’s going on with you,” he said.

I was going to tell him that everything was okay, but I thought about the conversation that I had with Cynthia earlier. He and I couldn’t have a relationship if I wasn’t able to share this kind of stuff with him. Everything isn’t roses all the time, and I have a lot of baggage. I’d spent a lot of time hiding my baggage from him, and all it did was drive a wedge between us. I wiped my face and took a deep breath.

“She didn’t even apologize,” I said as fresh tears streamed down my cheeks.

“I’m so sorry; maybe I shouldn’t have told you.”

“No,” I said shaking my head, “I needed to know. Although I really thought that it was Marcus, and now I’ve turned him in.”

“Don’t upset yourself over that. You did the right thing, he was blackmailing you.”

“I knew that she wasn’t going to say sorry, but I really wanted her to surprise me. I just wanted her to own up to her shit for once in her life.”

“Unfortunately, it seems that you’re going to have to give yourself closure on that part of your life. I’m not saying that she won’t come around because it’s very possible, but she may not. You can’t spend your life waiting on her to apologize,” he said.

“What’s fucked up is that I thought I was over it. That’s why it’s surprising that I feel this way.”

“She’s your mom, and I think its human nature to not give up on our parents. That doesn’t make you weak, it makes you strong. Don’t write your mom off but don’t expect anything either.”

“I’m going to work on that,” I said as I took another sip.

“It takes time,” he said as he grabbed a wine glass and filled his glass.

I raised my eyebrow at him.

“If you can’t beat em’,” he said with a smile, “How about we take it easy for the next two hours, get dressed, go to check on the progress of the venues, and then just do whatever in the hell we want?”

I perked up a bit, “You mean that? I know that this is a really busy time for us.”

He quickly shook his head, “Nothing is more important than you. We have a great team behind us, the marketing is going well, and we’re up to speed with staffing.”

“I love that you’re willing to do this for me. Let’s finish this bottle of wine and continue to be bums for the next two hours,” I said as I raised my glass for a toast.

“To being bums,” he echoed as he tapped my glass with his.

Kyle and I went through the rest of the day flawlessly. When we arrived at the last venue I couldn’t stop smiling. It was becoming the exact vision that we had in mind. We walked into the restaurant, and it was breathtaking. We’d taken the space of an old bar and grill and turned it into a refined high end steakhouse. It was two floors, right off the magnificent mile, and so the traffic was going to be phenomenal.

The modern black and white décor with amber lighting was everything that I could have hoped for. Modern décor was amongst my favorite, and maybe that’s because I never grew a real appreciation for the other stuff. I didn’t enjoy the big bulky furniture, huge heavy curtains, or deep reds that some of the other high end restaurants had. It was easy for me and Kyle to agree because he and I had similar taste. The restaurant looked like it could have been an extension of our loft.

“There are some finishing touches that need to be done, but we’ll be finished within the next few days,” the foreman assured us.

“You’re ahead of schedule,” Kyle said.

“Yes sir. So if you want to add or change anything we’ll have plenty of time to get it done.”

“We’ll be back in a couple of days, and Jack will check in with you tomorrow,” Kyle assured him.

“So what do you think?” Kyle asked me.

“I love it. It’s exactly what we had in mind,” I said with glee, “I can already envision the furniture and where it will go.”

“I’ve been meaning to ask you. Do you think that any of your friends would be interested in working at either of the locations?”

I turned to him and hugged him tightly, “Thank you so much! I wanted to suggest that, but I wasn’t sure how you feel about it.”

“It’s clear that they love you, and they’re like family to you, so we’re going to take care of them,” he said.

  “That’s amazing. I think they’ll appreciate it a lot.”

“There is more where that came from. We need to get them out of that neighborhood. So you can take them apartment hunting, and we’ll pay it up for a year. By that time they should make a wage that allows them to continue the payments on their own.”

“That makes me feel so good, I don’t care if I have to drag them out of there kicking and screaming. They’re going to move,” I laughed.

“You know that if you wanted me to do something for your mother then I would,” he said seriously.

“I’m not ready to even think a
bout that yet. I may change my mind later but right now I don’t want to deal with her at all,” I said.

“Okay, I’ll leave it alone for now,” he conceded.

“Thank you,” I said before I lifted to my toes and kissed him on the lips.

We spent the rest of the day enjoying Millennium Park. It wasn’t a huge place, but I loved watching the kids play in the fountain and the garden was beautiful. I was at peace, and I couldn’t stop hugging and kissing Kyle. I was safe with him, and he was not only taking care of my basic needs but he was taking care of my emotional needs as well. I couldn’t wait to become his wife.

That night he took me to Ruth Chris Steak House, and we spent a lot of time critiquing the food, décor, and service. We took notes on the things that we liked and on the things that we didn’t care for.

“You’re so intelligent and sexy,” Kyle said out of the blue.

I blushed, “Where did that come from?”

“It’s just something that I’ve been thinking for a while now. I always knew that you were a catch, but it was confirmed after I saw what you came from.”

  “Thank you,” I said.

“I really mean it. I have a new level of respect for you. I just wish that you would have told me in the beginning.”

Before he could speak anymore I cut him off, “I know, and I’ve been meaning to apologize to you for that. I just didn’t know how to bring something like that up. I’ve never searched for handouts or sympathy about my past, and I also wasn’t sure if you would want to be with me.”

“Of course I would have still wanted to be with you. I actually feel closer to you now than I ever have. Things have been rough, but we’ve needed to battle and face these obstacles together.”

His words were a symphony to my senses, and a huge weight that I didn’t know I possessed was lifted off of my shoulders.

“You don’t know how great it feels to hear you say that,” I said.

“Now that we’re finally over all of this bad news, I have something good to tell you.”

“Well don’t make me wait,” I laughed.

“I have set a date. We’re getting married on July 27th in Fiji.”

“SHUT UP!” I shrieked loudly and quickly quieted down as people looked at us. That got a hearty laugh from him.

“I think that you like the idea?”

“That’s just unreal. That’s something that I never even imagined as a possibility. Hell I would have been happy with the Bahamas.”

“We can still do it there,” he said.

“Oh hell no, I want Fiji.”

For the rest of the night we laughed and talked with an ease that we hadn’t had in a long time. We’d gone from a clear hierarchy to becoming equals. My collar had been abandoned in the drawer, and neither one of us had mentioned it. I had now submitted to Kyle in more ways then one and he seemed like he was satisfied with my commitment to him. He wasn’t my Dom anymore, he was my fiancé, and soon he was going to be my husband. Everything was beginning to feel a lot more real.

We got back to the loft, and I went straight to the kitchen to get another bottle of wine.

“What do you think you’re doing?” Kyle said as he placed both hands on either side of me on the counter.

He rubbed against my ass and I put the bottle down, “I was going to open a bottle of wine.”

“There’s no need for that,” he said as he placed a kiss on the back of my neck.

A soft moan slipped from my lips as I pressed back against him. I began to slowly sway my hips against his center.

“Damn, I need to be inside of you right now,” he groaned.

I needed for him to be inside of me too. I wanted to feel him pushing into my body, claiming it as his own. He didn’t have to make me wear a collar because he owned my heart, and that was more valuable than anything.

“What are you waiting for?” I challenged.

He responded to my goading by roughly pushing my skirt up around my waist and placing a firm smack on my ass. It stung like hell, and it sent pleasure straight to my center.

“Mmm I know you liked that,” he whispered against my ear as his hand rubbed my sensitive flesh through my panties. “Show me how much you want it.”

I bit my lip and pressed back and forth against his hand. My underwear was becoming wet with my juices, and he lightly tapped against my clit.

“Please,” I begged as I bent over completely and pressed my face against the cool marble of the counter.

He gave a triumphant laugh, and I knew that I wasn’t going to make it so easy for him next time. I’d come to the point where I was unashamed to beg him for what I wanted sexually. I loved the cat and mouse game, and so he would have to do a little more work in order to get me to purr. But for now, I just wanted to be fucked.

I could hear him unzipping his pants and my pulse raced. I couldn’t wait for him to give me everything that he had. He pushed my panties to the side and rubbed the head of his cock against my clit before he slowly pushed into me. I tried to squirm, but his fingers dug into my flesh and held me in place.

“Don’t move, just take it,” he growled.

I was getting frustrated because I wanted him to fuck me hard, and he was moving at a snail’s pace. It was clear that he was enjoying himself. I slapped the marble hard, “Fuck Kyle!”

He pulled until only the head of his cock was inside of me and then he impaled me deep and hard. My pelvis hit the unforgiving slab painfully, but I didn’t care because he was inside of me to the hilt. I gasped as my orgasm waited to erupt, I was close already. He withdrew and slowly inched into me again. My body shook with need, and I whimpered. He took mercy on me and sped his pace up.

“Fuck me back Camille,” he demanded.

I could have taken that opportunity to turn the tables, but I needed to cum. My body demanded its own release, and I pushed against him. His huge cock slammed into me over and again, and I imploded. My legs shook, but I continued to meet each of his pumps without stopping. I wanted him to feel just as great as I did. He pushed inside of me with the fury of the energizer bunny, and he coaxed another orgasm from my body before spilling his seed inside of me.

I smiled in contentment as I thought about what a great day it turned out to be. My life was finally falling into place.

  Epilogue

I always loved watching Camille get dressed in the morning. Her clothing choices lately reminded me of a sexy pin-up girl. She looked classy and sexy as hell. Watching her pull her pencil skirts onto her thighs and ass got my dick hard. Her shapely legs were pronounced when she slid on her tall Mary Jane pumps.

“Are you going to watch me or are you going to get dressed?” She asked as she stood there with her hands on her hips.

“Watching you is much more interesting that getting dressed,” I said as I fumbled with the buttons on my shirt.

“Well maybe I can help you with that,” she said coyly as she walked seductively over to me, kissed the side of my neck, before planting a kiss on my chest at the tip of my v-neck t shirt. I pulled her closer against me so that she could feel my arousal. If we kept going we were going to have to push our day back by a half hour.

My hand slid over her ass and squeezed as I captured her mouth and ravished her. I then heard the annoying buzz of my phone on the nightstand. Camille groaned against my lips as she went to grab my phone and bring it to me. I slapped her on the ass on her way to get it.

It was the security desk calling me.

  “Hello?”

“Sir, I’m so sorry to bother you and I tried to call your home phone first.”

“We cut the ringer off,” I said gruffly.

I didn’t want to give Sarah any attitude, but I was a little upset about being bothered.

“There is a woman down here that wants to speak with you. She asked to come upstairs, but I wouldn’t allow her up.”

“Please send her away. I don’t take random meetings and certainly not with someone that shows up to my
home. Give her the number to my assistant and have her call him,” I said in annoyance. I was willing to bet that it was a reporter. I didn’t take the invasion of my privacy very well.

“Mr. Kane she says that her name is Jane Foster.”

My body went rigid as I heard the name. I had not heard from her in years. What could she possibly want?

  “Is everything okay?” Camille asked.

I gave her a slight nod as I walked to my window.

“Ask her what her visit is regarding,” I said.

“I did Sir, she says that she wants to talk to you about your son.”

“Sorry, my son? I don't have a son.”

“That is what I said but she is insisting. I think you had better come down as she is not going to leave...”

I sighed and gathered my thoughts as I began to make my way downstairs. Just when things are looking up, something else pops up to bite me in the ass....

  The End

  THE

  WHITE BILLIONAIRE'S

  BABY

  #Chapter1

“I want you to be a father to your son”

  Jane

My entire body froze when I heard what Sarah told me through the phone. I hadn’t heard from Jane in years, and now she had emerged with life changing news.

“I’m on my way down,” I said quickly before I hung up.

“Babe is everything okay?” Camille asked with a concerned expression on her face.

“I don’t know. A woman is downstairs saying that she wants me to meet my son,” I said honestly.

  Her eyebrow raised,” What?”

“Just give me a minute please, I need to go downstairs and figure this out,” I said as I quickly finished buttoning my shirt.

  “I’m so confused right now.”

“That makes two of us. Just give me a moment to figure this out. I’ll be back in a few moments,” I said as I left the room. I didn’t give her time to respond because I knew that it wouldn’t have been a good conversation.

I paced the elevator as it took me down to the lobby. I was unable to stand in one spot because my life was possibly about to change forever. I stepped off the elevator and entered the lobby. Jane was standing there with a child that looked to be about 3 years old. Jane looked just like I remembered her. She was a petite raven haired beauty and her son was beautiful. I slowly approached them both, and she shuffled her feet nervously.
